Elliott has been the musical supervisor and director for Sunny Afternoon since the original production premiered at the Hampstead Theatre and for the London production at the Harold Pinter Theatre.
He has worked as co-musical director, keyboard player and string arranger for the Who, for a performance of Quadrophenia at the Royal Albert Hall, and has performed with Alice Cooper, and Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen. He has also been keyboard player for singer/songwriter Jim Diamond.
Other work as musical supervisor and/or musical director includes: Rock of Ages (West End/UK tour); Pete Townshend’s Quadrophenia (stage production); Queen’s We Will Rock You (London/Canada); Footloose (Playhouse) and The Rocky Horror Show (UK tour). Elliott also helped to MD Queen and the We Will Rock You appearance on Al Murray’s Happy Hour (ITV).
He has played keyboards for Wicked, Monty Python’s Spamalot, Zorro and The Sound of Music (West End) and for Flashdance (UK tour).
Elliott was also musical director for an album called Somewhere in the Audience, which featured songs written by Eric Woolfson of the Alan Parsons Project fame.
